Elk Point RCMP – Arrest Warrants Issued For Two Men
RCMP from Elk Point Detachment are asking for the public’s assistance to locate two men wanted in connection with firearms offences in the Fishing Lake area.
On January 22, at approximately 1130 pm., Elk Point RCMP responded to a firearms complaint in Fishing Lake. The caller reported being shot at and threatened by both men.
Elk Point RCMP have conducted investigations into the incident and have obtained arrest warrants for two men in relation to the crimes.
Matthew LAJIMODIERE (28) of Fishing Lake has been charged with 13 offences including, discharge of firearm with intent, two counts of witness intimidation, possession of a weapon for dangerous purposes, carrying a concealed weapon, possession of prohibited or restricted weapon without being the holder of a licence, two counts of uttering threats, pointing a firearm and four counts for breach of conditions.
Myles Robert LAJIMODIERE (31) of Fishing Lake has been charged with 4 offences: Two counts of witness intimidation and two counts of uttering threats.
Arrest warrants have been issued for both Matthew LAJIMODIERE and Myles LAJIMODIERE. Both men are considered armed and dangerous and are known to frequent both Fishing Lake and Frog Lake.
Elk Point RCMP are urging anyone with information on the whereabouts of these men, not to approach them and to immediately report the information to police by calling 911 or the Elk point RCMP at 780-724-3829.
