February 25th, at 5:30 pm, Cold Lake RCMP received a 911 call of an intoxicated male yelling at customers at McDonalds. RCMP attended and located 47 year old Gerald Nest, of Cold Lake First Nations.

In that instance, Nest was charged with being intoxicated in a public place.

Two days later, on February 27th, at 12:42 pm, RCMP received a call of an intoxicated male, harassing customers at Tim Hortons, by the Tri-City Mall. It is reported that the male was asked to leave and refused.

RCMP attended and found the male, passed out, in the front entrance. He was awoken, visibly intoxicated and had open liquor in his possession.

Again, it was Gerald Nest. He was arrested and held in custody until his court appearance. He appeared before a Justice of the Peace and was remanded. He will appear next in court on March 14th.
