Bonnyville Couple wins $250,000 on EXTRA

Blake and Tina Pikowicz got a lot more than they bargained for when they stopped to gas up. The happy couple discovered their February 3 WESTERN 649 won $250,000 on EXTRA.

“I checked a few of our tickets while Blake paid for gas,” she said. “When I saw a bunch of numbers on the screen, I called Blake to come over and see.”

“We were both in shock,” said Blake. “We couldn’t believe it!” The lucky couple have a couple of plans for their winnings, including a holiday.
“We’re in the middle of house renovations right now,” said Tina. “But I think we’ll plan a family vacation sometime soon.”

Blake and Tina purchased their winning ticket at Pepper’s Highway Service, located on HWY 28 in Waskatenau.
