On Thursday morning, emergency crews with the Bonnyville Regional Fire Authority (BRFA) responded to a fire in the Beaverdam area.
“The fire has been deemed non-suspicious,” confirms BRFA Chief, Brian McEvoy, who adds it’s suspected that heat tape caused the blaze.
There were no injuries reported. McEvoy says the fire was extinguished thanks to crews from Fort Kent, Ardmore and Bonnyville.
