RCMP respond to Single Vehicle Rollover near Casino
On January 4th, at approximately 12:00 pm, RCMP received a 911 call of a single vehicle rollover. The accident occurred on Highway 28 and Range Road 430, in the M.D. of Bonnyville, west of the Casino.
“It was reported to us that there was an elderly male, that was conscious and breathing but pinned in the vehicle,” recalls S/Sgt. Jeremie Landry. “RCMP and Fire-Rescue attended and extracted the male from the vehicle.” At the time, the Highway was not closed, but down to one lane.
The male suffered minor injuries and was transported to hospital for treatment.
