The Cold Lake Football Club celebrated a great season on Friday evening at Cold Lake High School. The club had an outstanding year, welcoming a new peewee football club, the Rams to the mix. The club also celebrated a Provincial silver medal for the High School Royals. Head Coach of the Royals, Kelly Johnson, says the club’s rebuilding efforts are really starting to pay off.

The club will soon have even more to celebrate with the news of the artificial turf field being constructed in Cold Lake, near the Energy Centre. The field will allow for a higher calibre of play and increase the player and fan experience. Coach Johnson says everyone is looking forward to its competition.
