UPDATED: Attempting Carjacking in Frog Lake

Elk Point RCMP have recovered the suspect truck abandoned in the Frog Lake area and the investigation continues.

 

The male suspect in the break and enter has not been identified. The suspect is described as:

 

  • Approximately 6’0”
  • White hat
  • White hoodie
  • White shoes

Background: October 16th

This morning at approximately 7:00 a.m., Elk Point RCMP responded to a report of an attempted car jacking near the community hall in Frog Lake.

 

A black truck tried to force another vehicle off the road. One of the occupants of the truck brandished what was believed to be a firearm at the victim. The truck with several occupant’s then sped away.

 

Prior to the attempted car jacking, a truck matching the same description was involved in a break and enter in Laurier Lake.

 

The suspect truck is described as:

 

  • Black 4 door F150 ½ ton
  • Severe damage to passenger side
  • No passenger side mirror
  • No license plate
  • Dimmed passenger side headlight
  • Something dragging beneath the vehicle

 

The male suspect in the break and enter is described as:

 

  • Approximately 6’0”
  • White hat
  • White hoodie
  • White shoes
