On the morning of October 10, 2017, a mutilated deceased cow was discovered on an oil lease site. Investigation determined that three separate openings on the cow’s body were not caused by animals. Internal organs were also removed by unknown suspect(s). It is not known how long the cow had been deceased before being located.
