Two weeks ago, it seemed there was no stopping the Assumption Crusaders offense. This week was a different story, and it was different by a mile. The Crusaders faced the JR Robson Marauders this past weekend.

18-14 Crusaders win

The Assumption Crusaders managed to take the victory over top of the Marauders. It was an 18-14 victory, their second straight. It was an overall great opportunity for some newer kids to get some much needed reps. The game was also a great learning experience for each member.

“We had a lot of holes to fill due to injuries, and our rookies came in, and gave us some good minutes. We had a makeshift O-Line, and D-Line, but the kids played admirably. Jacob Ratkovic, new to the team this week, came in and played some solid defense. Josh Gardner, and Logan Corrigal were stellar in stopping the JR run.” Coach Shayne Midford says.

The Crusaders will face Breton at home this weekend. The game is set for a 4:00 p.m. kick-off on Friday.
