Three Arrested; One at Large in Bonnyville Armed Robbery

Bonnyville RCMP Arrest Three Suspects After Shots Fired During Armed Robbery

Bonnyville RCMP have arrested 3 male suspects and are seeking a fourth suspect after a store employee was shot during an armed robbery over the long weekend.

On August 7th, 2017, Bonnyville RCMP responded to an armed robbery at a liquor store on 50th Avenue just after midnight. On arrival the victim was located suffering from a single gunshot wound to the abdomen.

Investigation revealed that 3 male suspects entered the store, with one male distracting the employee while the others stole various bottles of liquor. During the course of the interaction with the clerk, the suspect fired the weapon and struck the victim. The suspects fled the store while the victim managed to trigger the panic alarm despite his injuries.

The victim was airlifted to an Edmonton hospital where he was listed in stable condition and has since been released. Bonnyville RCMP engaged neighbouring Detachments and RCMP Police Dog Services (PDS) in search of the suspects.

Two male suspects were apprehended at a residence a short time later, while a third suspect was arrested later that day. A stolen vehicle was also recovered. A fourth suspect who was alleged to be involved with the trio after the fact is currently at large.

Walliek St. Clair-White, age 20 of Saddle Lake is facing several Criminal Code charges including Aggravated Assault and Pointing a Firearm. He was remanded into custody and will appear in St. Paul Provincial Court via CCTV on August 10, 2017.

Colton Joseph Alexander Delver, age 22, of Saddle Lake, Alberta is facing several Criminal Code charges including Possession of Weapon Dangerous to Public. He was remanded into custody and will appear in St. Paul Provincial Court via CCTV on August 10, 2017.

A 17 year old male youth from Saddle Lake who cannot be named under provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act is also facing several Criminal Code Charges including Armed Robbery with a Firearm. The youth is to appear in court via CCTV in St. Paul Provincial Court on August 10, 2017.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Tyre Darren Lorenzo Youngchief, age 20, of Kehewin, Alberta who is charged with several Criminal Code charges including Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5000.
