UPDATE:
Highways 29 has been re-opened after a two-vehicle accident around 3:30 pm, on Tuesday. There were no causalities reported; however there were some injuries. Those injured have been taken to local hospitals to be treated.
Background:
An accident on Highway 29 west of the three way junction has closed the highway.
Emergency crews are on the scene between Range Road 73 and 74, between Elk Point and St. Paul. It is unknown how long the highway will remain closed.
The severity of the accident and injuries are not known at this time.
