Canada 150 in Elk Point The Right Place to Be
The Town of Elk Point hosted their Canada 150 Celebrations on Saturday with over 3000 people in attendance.
The crowds started early with the pancake breakfast hosted by the Friends of the Library. The line up stretched over a block at one point. The parade was reported to be one of the biggest the town has seen in years. The procession lasted over 30 minutes and was received very well.
Highlights of the day included illusionist/magician Greg T and the versatile duo, The Campfire Kings, who entertained the crowd at the main stage during the afternoon. The entertainment throughout the day was sponsored by The Town of Elk Point. The 4H Multi-Club hosted their achievement day with dog agility presentations that wowed the crowd.
