Threats made in Ardmore

Youth arrested after uttering threats.

On May 28th at 4:40 pm, the Cold Lake RCMP were called to an incident on 48th street in Ardmore. S/Sgt of the Cold Lake Detachment, Jeremie Landry explains that an individual felt threatened by another person.

“It was an incident where someone was uttering threats to another and was threatening another with a broken bottle,” RCMP responded and arrested the person making the threats. “We arrested the suspect at the scene,” confirms Landry, who adds that charges have not yet been laid.

The identity of the person arrested has not been released because charges have not yet been sworn in court. Additionally, the suspect is a youth and would not be identified under the Youth Offenders Act.
