Foursome Charged following Truck Theft
Theft of Truck Investigation Results in Multiple Arrests and Charges
On April 28, 2017, Cold Lake RCMP located a stolen truck at a residence on the Cold Lake First Nations. Upon police arrival several suspects attempted to flee the scene but were quickly arrested by Cold Lake RCMP.
Tarron Grandbois, 19 years old of the Cold Lake First Nations was charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5000.00 and failing to comply with a recognizance.
Sheldon Ledrew, 26 years old of Cornerbrook, Newfoundland, was charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5000.00 and failing to comply with a probation order.
Clarence Scanie, 29 years old of the Cold Lake First Nations was charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5000.00 and obstruction of a police officer.
Rudy Cardinal, 18 years old of the Elizabeth Metis Settlement was charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5000.00, two charges of failing to comply with a probation order and obstructing a police officer.
All accused persons are appearing today at Cold Lake Provincial Court.
