Lakeland Co-op celebrates grand opening of Home Centre.

The Home Centre officially opened its doors and tills for customers yesterday, in Bonnyville. The celebration opened with an official ribbon cutting where President of the Lakeland Co-op Board, John Irwin, exclaimed that the store was a long-time coming for the community.

“Today marks the end of about two years work from our board and management & staff,” Irwin says that over the last three months staff have been on site at the Home Centre being trained, “with the service you’d expect at our other stores in our community.”
