LCSD Announces the Retirement of Assistant Superintendent Diane Bauer

Bauer retires after 31 yrs with LCSD

Diane Bauer is a passionate and dedicated educator who has served Lakeland Catholic School District for 31 years. Her steadfast commitment to excellence has inspired countless teachers and students over the years.

Diane began her teaching career in 1983 at École Notre Dame Elementary School in Bonnyville. For the last 16 years Diane has been in a leadership position with Lakeland Catholic and for 10 years she has served as Assistant Superintendent.
As Assistant Superintendent she was responsible for Human Resources, Instructional Coaching, leadership for the District’s student academic achievement, assessment, strategic planning, program and curriculum implementation, inclusive education, and technology. Diane has worked closely with District Administrators to ensure the coordination of efforts for outstanding teaching, learning and student performance.
Diane says, “I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at LCSD. It has been a rewarding and exciting career. I am grateful to have been able to work with students and staff who have brought me such joy.”
Diane’s retirement will commence on March 31st. The District thanks her for her years of service and wishes her well in her retirement.
