Police Chase Leads to Four People Charged
Wanted man Simon Cardinal among those apprehended
Coordinated Effort Leads to Multiple Arrests & Charges
A coordinated effort between Cold Lake, Lac La Biche and Bonnyville Detachments resulted in the arrest of (4) individuals stemming from multiple investigations in the Lac La Biche and Cold Lake areas. Cold Lake and Bonnyville RCMP located suspect vehicles fleeing from the Lac La Biche RCMP east bound on Highway 55 near La Corey, Alberta. Eventually the suspects became stuck after losing control of their vehicle and fleeing on foot in the wooded area near Township Road 650 and Range Road 423a. Assistance was sought from (2) Police Dog Services Units as well as from RCMP Air Services. After a 7 hour track through the woods, a total of 2 adult males and 2 adult females were arrested.
