Marianas Trench performed at the Energy Centre in Cold Lake on Saturday night. Opening for the Canadian band was Virginia to Vegas and Shawn Hook.
The fans who came out to the show got to hear great music, see an incredible light show, and feel the energy of all the musicians. At one point in the evening, Josh Ramsay from Marianas Trench climbed up into the stands to be with the audience, and then he walked through the crowds of people on the floor.
After he meet everyone he could, he sat down at a piano at the back of the room and sang for the people who had back row tickets. For the small crowd of people at the back of the room, they were able to be almost within arms reach of him. All throughout the evening the band members were tossing their guitar picks into the audience and interacting with the fans.
Marianas Trench ended the evening with an encore of three songs and a promise to come back again; sooner than the ten years they had last been here.
