Pamela Guilbault named LCSD Assistant Superintendent

Lakeland Catholic Schools is pleased to announce the appointment of Pamela Guilbault as Assistant Superintendent of schools.

Pamela graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Education in 1998. Following this, she completed a Masters in Educational Leadership from Portland University in 2009 and she is currently completing a Masters of Theology from Neuman Theological College. She is a charismatic professional with a vision that is committed to excellence in Catholic education. Pamela has been teaching for 19 years. Throughout these 19 years, she has had the good fortune to teach in a variety of districts across Alberta including Fort McMurray, Wetaskiwin, and STAR Catholic, which provides her with a depth of experience that will benefit LCSD.

In 2013 she moved to Bonnyville and joined the Lakeland Catholic family as principal of École Notre Dame High School. She has served the District in this position for the last four years. As a Catholic leader, Pamela’s priorities foster relationships and serve others. Through these relationships, she advocates for Catholic education. Pamela volunteers throughout the community and with St. Louis Parish.

Her commitment to these activities indicates her varied interests and dedication to servant leadership. She demonstrates an attitude of inclusivity. She is an agent of hope, embracing the dignity of each person she meets, and she responds with empathy while remaining fair and just.

Pamela says, “I believe a leader is a humble servant to others; a model, guide, advocate, and teacher who serves to better create a Christ-centered, student focused culture.” She looks forward to the opportunities within this senior administrative role to impact the LCSD community as they look to her for professional and spiritual guidance. Pamela will commence her position as Assistant Superintendent on Tuesday April 18th, 2017.
