At approximately 9 a.m. this morning, a child from H.E. Bourgoin School in Bonnyville reported that on their way to school an individual in a silver minivan attempted to lure them into the vehicle.  The vehicle described is a silver mini-van and the operator was described as likely a male with a flourescent work vest on their torso.  No further details were provided by the child who fled the scene and arrived at the school safely.  The sex of the child is being withheld in order to protect their identity.

RCMP have not received any other reports on this or any other similar situations.  Anyone who may have witnessed this event are asked to contact Cst. Smith with Bonnyville RCMP at 780-343-7200.
