Waiver: In consideration of the opportunity afforded to the individual, organization, group or business I represent to participate in the ‘2016 Bonnyville Santa Claus Parade’, I hereby waive any right or case of action arising as a result of our participation in said parade from which any liability may arise against The Town of Bonnyville or any individual providing leadership in connection with said parade.  I hereby declare that we assume all responsibilities for any liabilities that may arise during our participation of parade events without limiting the generality of the foregoing I/we agree that this waiver should include any rights or causes of action resulting from personal injury to members of our organization or property damages sustained in connection to our participation in the parade.

Additional Information

We are very excited to announce that the annual Santa Claus Parade is coming up.  We invite organizations, groups, sports teams, schools and families to make this parade a success.  Register a float and take part in this exciting community event!

There is no charge to enter this Santa Claus Parade.  Floats with plenty of lighting are preferred.

Throwing of candy during the parade is prohibited due to darkness; however handouts or light tossing from walking participants is acceptable.

Santa has already agreed to be a part of this event and will ride at the end of the parade.  Please DO NOT include a Santa impersonator as part of your entry.  Thanks for your cooperation.

Approximately a week before the parade, the contact person will be sent line up information so there is no confusion the evening of Saturday, December 3, 2016.

 

Parade Route:

The parade will start off at The Players Lounge and travel Main Street, ending at the Bonnyville Centennial Centre, where hot chocolate will be served.  Floats and parade participants will line up along the west side of Lakeshore drive (behind The Players Lounge).
