Westlock battled back, 20-28. The we took control of the game in the fourth quarter and won 42-20.”

Some great plays were made to secure the win, “our offensive line; Hunter Nicholson, Kieth Swan, Bryton Bouvier, Alex Dombinski and Nathan Williston had a solid game. Probably their best game all season.” The Royals’ quarterback also played very well on Saturday, says the coach, “quarterback Braeden Wicht also had is best game all season. He made smart decision all game and spread the ball around and ran the ball when he needed to.” There was some other notable plays from the running backs, “running backs Aiden Harrison, Thomas Kell and Dominic Ayers all had standout games.”

Coach Kelly spent most of Sunday clearing Soholt Field to host Wainwright on Satruday with volunteers. “Thanks to everyone who helped out today! Seniors-Robs, Jesse, Jon, Anthony, Chris, Williston. Bantams-Johnny, Bow, the Miniks & the whole Huber Family! Mr Roberts & his Quad did a super Job! Mr Roberts is going to try to finish the field tomorrow, so I don’t think we need to show up after school.”
