Pedestrian – Vehicle Collision leaves 38 yr old Lac La Biche Man Dead

Lac La Biche RCMP investigating a fatal pedestrian/vehicle collision

On Oct. 13, 2016 at approximately 12:30 a.m., Lac La Biche RCMP and EMS responded to a fatal collision involving a pedestrian and a truck on Highway 36 south of Lac La Biche.

A 16-year-old male driver of the truck was travelling northbound on Highway 36 when it collided with the pedestrian whose vehicle was later found in the area. The driver was not injured during this collision.

The 38-year-old male pedestrian from Lac La Biche was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Members along with an RCMP Collision Reconstruction Analyst from Edmonton continue to investigate the collision. The name of the deceased will not be released.
