Homemade Pizza inspired by Mama’s Italian

Who doesn’t love pizza? And a quick easy homemade pizza recipe is a must for a family kitchen. This is a great meal that kids love to help with! You can make this recipe with regular flour or with a gluten-free blend. I used Robin Hood Gluten Free.

Fast and Easy Pizza Crust
1 1/2 cups flour with extra for blending and kneading.
1 packet yeast – Quick rising or the pizza blend
2 teaspoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup very warm milk- steaming, not boiling
1/3 cup warm water
3 tablespoons oil – Canola

Blend the dry ingredients together in a large bowl. Mix together the wet ingredients and add to a well ( in other words, make a lake in your dry mix)
in the dry. Mix well together until the dough forms into a soft ball. The dough will be sticky. Add more flour and blend in by hand until dough is no longer sticky. Oil a heavy 10 “pizza pan or a cast iron frying pan, then press your dough into the pan. Let dough rise for 15 minutes.
Add your pizza sauce and toppings and cheese! Bake in a preheated 425 F oven for 15 minutes or until the cheese is golden and bubbling. Take care removing the pizza from the pan. Slice and enjoy!
