Possession of Guns and Stolen Property in Glendon

Elk Point Female & Glendon Male Arrested

On October 7, 2016 members of the Bonnyville RCMP located a male and female sleeping inside a running vehicle on Pyrogy Drive in Glendon.  An SKS Rifle with ammunition was found laying on the ground next to the vehicle. Upon further investigation Police located additional firearms, stolen identity documents, a stolen 2011 Toyota 4-Runner and small amounts of Methamphetamine.

A 36 year old male from Glendon and a 47 year old  female from Elk Point were arrested and charged for multiple offences in relation to the seized property.  Among the 25 Counts that each accused faces are Possession of Body Armour without a Valid Permit, Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, Possession of Property obtained by Proceeds of Crime and several Drug and Firearms Offences.  First Appearance is October 25th at Bonnyville Provincial Court.

At the time of this publication, charges against the accused had not been sworn; thus the identities have not been released. The names and identities of the accused will be available to the public following the first court appearance on October 25th.
