RCMP say vehicle was stolen from Grasslands

On September 26th at 9:30 am, the Cold Lake RCMP received a call regarding a single vehicle rollover on Highway 897 and Township Road 600. Ambulance and fire attended, where they discovered a lone occupant, the driver of the vehicle, who was treated for minor injuries.

The RCMP soon discovered that the driver of the vehicle was wanted on several warrants and to make matters worse, the vehicle that he was driving was found to be stolen. Previous to the rollover, on September 25th, sometime after midnight, the vehicle, a 2008 Ford F150, was reported stolen from Grasslands, Alberta.

The driver, a 28 year old male, from Fishing Lake was arrested. The name of the accused as not been release because at the time of this publication charges had not yet been sworn.
