Wisdom & Opportunity for Women Networking Event
Business women in the Lakeland are invited a special event on September 14th, Wisdom & Opportunity for Women (WOW) Better in Leather. Kathryn Hotte, Small Business Advisor for the Rural Alberta Business Centre, (RABC) a presenter of the WOW event says there is always a theme at the WOW events, this time it’s leather.
“We just like to make it fun, the last event was a tropical theme, this time around it’s leather. So everyone is asked to dress the part – Better in Leather,” says Hotte. The events are designed for women to use their strengths to build each other up. So many business woman have various skill-sets, specialties, professional talents, and education, it is important to find a way to bring all that talent and knowledge together. WOW events encourage women to network and find ways to combine wisdom to aid in the growth of all.
Along with sleek & fashionable attire, Better in Leather features guest speaker, Maradere Birkill. According to Birkill’s bio she is “a seasoned consultant, facilitator and executive coach. She has strong credentials support
ed by 25 years of experience as a leader, consultant and educator in various industries, both private and public. Her passions are Organizational Performance and Talent Development. Her approach is pragmatic and personal. She co-creates solutions based on your unique situation – your tools and expertise, your reality, your goals.”
“For those that have attended our previous events you know that it our WOW’s are a fun and interactive way to network. We expect to sell out quickly for this event so register early to save your seat,” says Hotte. The event is open to all business women in the Lakeland, registration can be done through the RABC office, in Cold Lake or the Chamber of Commerce, in Bonnyville.
There will be food, wine and a signature drink, a great speaker to inspire you and wonderful door prizes.
