4-Wing Cold Lake Munitions Disposal Today

Expect to hear some explosions today, especially in the Cold Lake area. CFB Cold Lake will be detonating some expired munitions between 8:00 am & 4:00 pm. The detonation process is performed by professionals under strict guidelines and regulations.

Due to the explosions, portions 4-Wing will be under restrictions to ensure the public’s safety. Residents are asked to follow the direction of the Wing and Base personnel.
