Bigger Celebration in the Works

Head Coach of the Bonnyville Jr A Pontiacs has confirmed that the reunion dinner, that had been planned for the 20th of August, will be rescheduled. “Our Vice President, Steve Wojick, and former President, Dennis Germain, felt that they needed more time to ensure that the event reflected the importance of celebrating the history and tradition created by the PONTIACS over the past 25 years,” explains Coach Swan

“The time will allow to plan for a bigger and better night,” Coach Swan said of the rescheduling. The Pontiacs organization is keeping with its plans to host a 25th Anniversary; however it’ll be a few months down the road.

“We will still have you all here and we will replace the banquet with a BBQ ‘meet and greet’ Social for players, staff, Board Members and Billet Parents at the PONTIAC office/lounge on Saturday the 20^th.” Coach Swan says of the casual gathering, “this will be a great opportunity to meet and mingle. Please let your Billets know that they are welcome.”

The event will start at 6:00 pm at the Pontiac’s lounge on August 20th.
