19 yr old Male Arrested after Threatening to Stab Ex

In the evening of July 2nd 2016, the Bonnyville RCMP Detachment received a complaint from a 31 year old female reporting that her 19 year old ex boyfriend was chasing her around town in a vehicle threatening to stab her.

Shortly after receiving this complaint, the grandparents of the male contacted the Bonnyville RCMP to report that their grandson had stolen their vehicle.  Police were able to locate the male driving the stolen vehicle.

The male was arrested without incident and transported to the Bonnyville RCMP Detachment where he remains in police custody facing numerous charges including Criminal Harassment, Uttering Threats Against a Person, Theft of Vehicle, Driving while Disqualified, Fail to Comply and drive motor vehicle without insurance. The identity of the male arrested has not been released by the RCMP.
