UPDATED: Cold Lake RCMP Tracking Home Invasion Suspects

UPDATE #1 

RCMP have removed the barricades and released the area of 47 avenue and 47 Street in Cold Lake, affected residents can return home.

One 25 year old female from Bonnyville and one 30 year old male of Cold Lake have been taken in to custody without incident.

The investigation is continuing and RCMP are still present at the home and will be there for several hours.

Background

Cold Lake RCMP have traced suspects wanted in a home invasion to a residence on 47th Street, in Cold Lake.  They have set up containment at the home since 5:00 a.m., this morning for public safety and in order to resolve the matter. RCMP ask that the public remain away from the 47 Street to 45 Street area of Cold Lake until further notice.  Some neighbours have been moved out of the area with others directed to shelter in place. No one other than the suspects are believed to be in the home.

Please do not divulge the locations of police on Social Media.
