MD Increases Dog Impound Fee
After the SPCA increased its impound fee, the Municipal District (MD) of Bonnyville follow suit to cover the extra costs. Dogs found at large that are picked up by MD Animal Control will come with a cost of 0 for the owners to retrieve the animal from the SPCA.
The MD Peace Officers report that dogs have been keeping them busy. Complaints regarding dogs at large, excessive barking, and even dogs chasing chickens are frequent for MD officers. This is typical of the time of the year, reports the Public Safety Department.
