Goodfish Man Arrested after Driving Without Licence

On April 30th at 11:40 am, a 23 year old Goodfish Lake man, who does not have a driver’s licence was speeding and driving erratically passing vehicles unsafely on Hwy 28 west of Bonnyville.

He then made it to Secondary Hwy 660 near Glendon and lost control of the SUV he was driving. When a passerby stopped and called 911 the male fled on foot to avoid apprehension but he was located a short time later and admitted to being on his cell phone at the time of the accident.

He was charged with Failing to Remain at the scene of an Accident, Drive with Undue Care and Attention, Operating a vehicle while operating a cell phone, Transporting Open Liquor in a Vehicle and Operating a Motor Vehicle without a licence.
