RCMP Request Info on Parking Lot Smash

The Cold Lake RCMP are calling on the public to help with details on a parking lot crash that damaged three vehicles. Around 2:00 am on Sunday, April 17th, RCMP say a black KIA Optima, midsize car, hit several vehicles, outside the Pour House, in Cold Lake North.

Police say the vehicle was being operated by a female, who witnesses say was driving fast prior to the crash. Witnesses also noted that the female locked herself in the vehicle and would not corporate with witnesses, who were attempting to help her following the crash. RCMP know the identity of the female driver; however, they need more information to close the file.

Cold Lake RCMP are investigating whether alcohol or dangerous driving could be factors in the collision and ask any witnesses who may have been present or have knowledge of the driving patterns prior to the crash to contact the Cold Lake Detachment at 780-594-3302.
