On April 3rd, 2016 at approximately 2:00 AM, a Constable with the Bonnyville RCMP Detachment was conducting patrols in the town of Bonnyville when he observed a Jeep roll through a stop sign. A traffic stop was initiated with the vehicle on 54th Avenue.  During the traffic stop, the Constable noted liquor on the driver’s breath.

At this time the driver, a 25 year old female resident of Bonnyville, was detained and demanded to provide a sample of her breath while roadside which resulted in a fail.  The female was then arrested for Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle and transported to the Bonnyville RCMP Detachment where she provided samples of her breath that resulted in readings well over the legal limit.

The female was later released and will appear in Bonnyville Provincial on May 17th, 2016.
