Break-in at the Dove Center
On March 4th, 2016, the Dove Center Bottle Depot reported that in the early morning hours at approximately 3:35 AM, their fenced yard was breached and a suspect was seen on their video surveillance footage throwing bags over the fence to another suspect who was loading them into the vehicle. The vehicle is described to look similar to a Pontiac Aztec or Chevrolet Avalanche however exact make is still being determined.
If anyone noted suspicious people or behaviour in the area early in the morning of March 4th 2016, please contact Cst. ANDERSON at the Bonnyville RCMP Detachment.
Domestic Dispute – Assault w/ a Weapon
On March 8th, 2016 at 12:00 PM, the Bonnyville RCMP Detachment responded to a complaint of a domestic dispute in progress just west of town. Police arrived an located the suspect at the residence along with the victim who had noticeable injuries.
The male suspect, a 28 year old resident of Edmonton, was arrested and transported to the Bonnyville RCMP Detachment where he was later released by a Justice Of the Peace on $500 cash bail to appear in Bonnyville Provincial Court on March 22nd, 2016 for charges of Assault with a Weapon, Assault and Uttering Threats.
Theft of KIA Sportage Licence #BSF3749
On March 10th, 2016 the Bonnyville RCMP Detachment received a complaint of a vehicle theft that occurred on March 9th, 2016 from a rural Iron River, AB residence. The vehicle is described as 2007 Kia Sportage, blue in colour, with Alberta license plate # BSF3749. The vehicle has a rose decal on one side and a Tinkerbell decal on the other, both on the rear small windows.
The RCMP is asking the public to report if they have any information on the theft or whereabouts of the vehicle.
