Over 400 ENDES Students take Snow Angel Challenge
Nearly 450 students at Notre Dame Elementary School in Bonnyville participated in the Snow Angels Challenge to bring awareness to Huntington Disease. The school was challenged by a neighbouring Lakeland Catholic School District (LCSD) school, Holy Family Catholic School in Waskateneau, who initiated the challenge to show support for the We Have a Face Movement.

Holy Family Catholic School held their Snow Angel Challenge on February 10th and then challenged other schools across Lakeland Catholic School District and the region to get involved in this movement. Notre Dame Elementary School in Bonnyville took them up on the challenge on Friday, March 4th. Nearly 450 students and staff took part in the challenge.
Principal Kimberley Reashor-Kaiser organized the event with her staff. She said, “Holy Family Catholic School inspired us to get involved and we are happy to promote awareness and provide support for this great cause.” She added that she would like to challenge other schools across the District and region to join the movement by hosting their own challenges.
