On December 16th, 2015, at 5:00 AM, the Bonnyville RCMP Detachment responded to a mischief complaint in the town of Bonnyville, near 50th Avenue and 51st Street, where the complaint observed a male stabbing one of his truck tires. Police learned the identity of the male who had fled the scene and a warrant has been sought.

 

On December 16th, 2015 at approximately 10:00 PM members of the Bonnyville RCMP were on patrol in the town of Bonnyville when they observed a vehicle traveling eastbound on a service road in the industrial area. Police checks on the licence plate affixed to the vehicle resulted in no valid registration related to the plate.  A traffic stop was initiated in the nearby KFC parking lot and once the vehicle stopped the driver immediately got out and went inside the business.

Bonnyville RCMP officers followed the driver inside who was known the police and was currently suspended from driving.  The driver was arrested for driving while prohibited and found to in breach of two conditions bound by the courts.  He was transported to the Bonnyville RCMP Detachment where he remains pending bail being paid facing charges of Driving While Disqualified, Failing to Comply with Conditions X2, and infractions under the Traffic Safety Act.
