Effective immediately, Alberta Health Services (AHS) has lifted the contaminated water advisory that was issued for Kinosoo Beach on Cold Lake, on August 13, 2015.

Water testing has confirmed that bacterial levels are now below maximum acceptable guidelines, meaning the water at Kinosoo Beach on Cold Lake is again safe for swimming and wading.

AHS will continue to sample this water as part of routine monitoring practices.
