Lac La Biche RCMP are seeking public’s assistance with a break and enter investigation of a church

The Lac La Biche RCMP need your help.

On Feb. 25, 2022, at approximately 10:30 a.m. Lac La Biche RCMP received a call that a break in and theft had occurred overnight at a Lac La Biche church.

The Lac La Biche RCMP attended the scene and learned that sometime between Feb. 24, 2022 at approximately 2:00 p.m. and Feb. 25, 2022 at approximately 10:30 a.m. A suspect broke into the front door of the church and gained access to a supply closet where wine was stored.

Also taken was the church’s sound system including speakers, and receivers.

The Lac La Biche RCMP’s investigation into this incident is ongoing.
