Smoky Lake RCMP invite the community to engage in consultation for 2022/2023 planning

Corporal Roxanne Genereaux of the Smoky Lake RCMP Detachment invites local community members to provide input towards Detachment planning for 2022/2023. Residents served by the Smoky Lake RCMP Detachment who may have any comments and/or concerns about policing issues in and around the communities of the Town of Smoky Lake, County of Smoky Lake, Vilna, Bellis, Waskatenau, Warspite, and Spedden are invited to participate.

In order to keep our community members safe, Cpl. Genereaux will be accepting input through regular mail and email messages between Feb. 14, 2022 and Feb. 25, 2022. Residents are asked to submit their input either by email at [email protected] or by mail to Smoky Lake RCMP, P.O. Box 239, Smoky Lake AB T0A 3C0.

Cpl. Genereaux will review all of the correspondence received. In March 2022, Cpl. Genereaux will respond to the top issues and concerns as presented and publish her responses on the aforementioned communities’ web pages and mail outs.

Cpl. Genereaux looks forward to hearing from the community and thanks everyone in advance for taking the time to work together during this challenging time to identify concerns.
