Vermilion Cornerstone Co-op gas bar employee receives service award

Service employees keep our country running and Lakeland Connect would like to say congratulations to Emerson on five years of service with the Cornerstone Co-op in Vermilion.

Emerson received his service award this week.

“Emerson began working at our Vermilion Gas Bar in November of 2016 as a pump attendant, and sometimes works at the till as well. He enjoys the variety of the job as well as the people,” Cornerstone Co-op in Vermilion stated.

Emerson is no stranger in Vermilion, he has volunteered several times in the community, and at local events initiated by Co-op.

“I am proud to have taken part in several Brand Moments, especially when it involves the Town & the Community. It always feels good giving back,” Emerson stated.

He recommends the Co-op potato chips, as they are his favorite and there are lots of flavors to choose from.

“Thank you Emerson, for your years of service! We’re grateful to have you on the Cornerstone Team,” Cornerstone said.
