Cold Lake RCMP responds to shots fired at a residence in drive by shooting

Police need your help to solve a recent drive by shooting in the City of Cold Lake.

According to police, “On Aug. 28, shortly after 3:45 a.m., Cold Lake RCMP received a report that a residence had sustained damage from firearms discharged towards the residence.”

Preliminary investigation reveals three occupants in a white Chevrolet Impala pulled up and stopped in front of a residence, located near 50 Avenue, in Wildwood Trailer Park, discharged several rounds from firearms. Then this suspect vehicle departed to the main exit and proceeded to head east on Township Road 630.

The Cold Lake RCMP investigation is ongoing. Police do not believe this was a random act.

If anyone witnessed anything in relation to this incident, or knows who is responsible, they are asked to contact Cold Lake RCMP at 780-594-3301. Cold Lake RCMP encourage the public to report any criminal or suspicious activity as this helps identify where to look, who to look for and where to patrol in the future.
