Kissel nominated for Juno Award for Single of the Year

Brett Kissel will be looking for his third Juno Award when the 50th edition of biggest night in Canadian music happens this spring.

On Tuesday afternoon, the Juno Award nominations came out and Kissel is nominated for Single of the Year for his track Drink About Me.

The track reached number one on the Canadian country music charts in January 2020, and lead off of his 2019 record Now or Never.

Kissel won Breakthrough Artist of the Year in 2014 and Country Album of the Year in 2019 for We Were That Song. 

The Weeknd, Lennon Stella, Justin Bieber, and JP Saxe were also nominated for Single of the Year.

The Junos will be broadcast nationwide Sunday, May 16.
