Bonnyville RCMP stop driver with 16 grams of meth

Multiple charges have been laid against a Kehewin man after he was found driving with illegal drugs.

Bonnyville RCMP received a report last Thursday of a possibly intoxicated driver with a suspended license heading toward Bonnyville.

Police found 16 grams of methamphetamine on the driver after a traffic stop.

The 41-year-old man from Kehewin’s charges have not been sworn as of press time.

Since the information hasn’t been sworn, his name cannot be released yet.

He will appear in court on August 18.
