Cold Lake PCN & physicians set up clinic for regular walk-in

A centralized walk-in clinic is set up for patients experiencing other health issues besides COVID-19.

The Cold Lake Primary Care Network and community physicians came together to offer this service, they announced Monday.

You can access the walk-in Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm as you normally would on the 2nd floor of the hospital at the PCN clinic in Cold Lake.

“We want to ensure that we are offering as much access to regular care as possible,” said the Cold Lake PCN on their Facebook page.

You will go through a triage nurse at the main entrance of the hospital and this is to ensure that you are directed to the right area.

“We have taken EVERY precaution to ensure your safety and the healthcare providers safety is maintained.”

This includes additional exam rooms available to move patients into spaces without long wait times in the waiting areas.

Also, separated check-in locations from other appointments areas, cleaning all surfaces between patients and supporting physical distancing while you are there.

Contact the PCN office if you have any questions or concerns – Phone: 780-639-0011.
