It was an event many had never seen before, and one many more came to enjoy.

The Canadian Indian Relay Racing Association’s season began at the Bonnyville Agricultural Society grounds last weekend.

The event capped off Kehewin’s Treaty Week celebration and was part of the growing relationship between the Town of Bonnyville and Kehewin Cree Nation that included the raising of the Treaty Six Flag at the town office on Friday.
