Cold Lake RCMP inviting people to celebrate National Police Week

Cold Lake RCMP are inviting the public to come chat with police officers to celebrate National Police Week.

On Friday, May 17, from 10:00am-12:00pm Detachment Commander, Staff Sergeant Scott Buchanan is inviting members of the public to the Parade Room at the RCMP Detachment located at 4710-55th Street in Cold Lake.

“I would like to invite the public we serve to share coffee with the officers that work the beat on a daily basis. Our police officers couldn’t be as effective on the street if it wasn’t for the great work of our support staff, said S/S Sgt. Buchanan.

“This detachment is comprised of a fine group of men and women whom I am proud to stand beside. During this time, I will also be recognizing a distinct member of our community for a great act of bravery.”

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the detachment directly at 780-594-3302.
