Kehewin woman faces assault with weapon charges from domestic dispute

A female has been charged with assault with a weapon following a domestic dispute.

RCMP were called to Kehewin in the early morning May 4th.

It is believed the suspect stabbed the victim in the arm before fleeing. The extent of the injury is not known at this time.

The female faces charges of assault with a weapon and failing to comply with an undertaking.

She was brought before a Justice of the Peace and released on a $2000 no cash recognizance with conditions.

The victim was a 36 year old male.
