Two Bonnyville football players are in the mix for Team Alberta

Two Bonnyville area football players are still in the mix for the U17/18 Football Alberta team.

Offensive lineman Kistin and Navarone Watchmaker have both advanced past the first round of cuts for the provincial team.

They are joined by 17 other o-lineman who are still in the mix for the team.

A total of 400 players attended the “super weekend” camp from Jan. 11-13 at Foote Field in Edmonton. Only 130 of them advanced to the next round of cuts.

Navarone Watchmaker was on Football Alberta’s U17 team last year.
